The challenge
Boston Scientific wanted people to talk about health in a different way and to turn that conversation into real help: the more people played, the bigger the donation.
The solution
We developed a game for phones and Facebook in which every monster has a condition —from hypertension to Parkinson's— and players help it in two stages, cure and prevention. Points from the whole community added up toward a shared goal.
The result
The 10-million-point goal was blown away: the community reached 300 million. More than 172,000 downloads, number one in the Argentine stores and USD 150,000 donated to Doctors of the World against Chagas. In 2015 the game expanded to Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
