The challenge
Create a racing game where every koi is a unique collectible, with an economy of its own that would hold up over time and a universe of stories around it that the community would help build.

The solution
We developed the whole blockchain side on Polygon: Solidity smart contracts for every koin's NFT, breeding and races, and a dual economy with a governance token and a utility token. Eight koins compete in each race and only the top three win.

The result
A play-and-earn game with its own economy, a Genesis collection of 38,888 koins and a transmedia universe of web series, podcasts and webcomics born from the game.
